JVD United Hurricane Relief

Hurricane Irma & Maria (2 CAT5s) devastated Jost Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands.   This is where we were the General Managers of a small resort with 12 villas on 18 acres.  We lived with the islanders and guests for last two and a half years before coming home to Fauquier County.  Jost Van Dyke is a famous small island in the British Virgin Island as the place to go to enjoy the island life.  Many people around the Washington DC Metro area go for their vacations.  The islanders are like family.  JVD became our second home and we will always consider them our island family.

With the 2 largest CAT5 in history hitting the island, JVD faced the hardest and darkest days in their history. People are wanting TO DO SOMETHING TO HELP. We had calls coming in from islanders stateside and our island guests asking for updates on their beloved island.  They wanted options to help in the effort of restore relief and rebuild JVD.

We were active in the JVD community and this continued during their darkest hour.  We were happy with the efforts of so many who contributed to helping the help the people of the island.

Thank you for your support of Jost Van Dyke.
